5. Performing the Work On Site

After your design and contract are finalized, it's time to bring your project to life. This step explains what to expect once work begins — the stage where your vision becomes reality.

  • You’ll receive weekly updates leading up to your scheduled start date. Equipment may be delivered up to one week before work begins, but delivery does not mean work has started. Public utilities are marked one week prior through One-Call, and private utilities must be marked by the client.

  • On your project’s first day, the crew arrives and begins production according to your approved plan. Erosion controls are installed only when required by permit or local regulations.
  • During the Project
  • The crew focuses on production while maintaining safety, efficiency, and quality. If any significant changes are needed, you’ll be contacted before they occur.

  • As work nears completion, finishing details and seeding (if applicable) are completed. A final walkthrough ensures the project meets your expectations, and you’ll receive your final invoice and next-step guidance.

6. What to Expect After Your Project is Completed

After your project is complete, nature takes the lead. This step outlines what you can expect in the coming weeks and months, from grass growth to pond filling, and how Bulletproof continues to support you along the way.

  • For ponds and lakes, water levels rise gradually through rainfall and runoff. Most ponds take just under a year to reach full capacity, depending on rainfall, watershed size, and soil conditions.
  • Seeded areas typically begin to grow within 7–21 days and reach full coverage in 6–8 weeks, but these estimates apply only during the growing season.
  • During winter months, cold temperatures prevent seed germination. Growth will begin once the soil warms and conditions are suitable in spring.
